hammer coral

one end of my hammer coral is all covered in slime is this normal?

how long has the hammer been in the tank? only usually see this when it settles itself down when just added to a tank....Mainly, the slime is down to stress..

If the coral is new / just been added, then you should not have anything to worry about..
