hammers blue lobster

i recently purchased two blue lobsters from liveaquaria and they are doing fine but they arent blue at all how long does it generally take for them to turn blue?

They usually display blue coloration at a very young age. If it is not blue I would complain to liveaquaria. they typically maintain their color through shipping.

I got some babies - 1/2 inch or so, and they were already very blue. If they aren't blue, they aren't blue.

Are they definitely hammer's blue?

Some cherax are very muted when young and don't get full coloration until larger.
