hampala barbs uk

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Wharf :)

A quick google search finds an interesting fish to 24 inches, powerfull jumper though. Tinfoils would be a good tankmate??????????/

Because hampala's are also mid water swimmers I think it would make a better balanced tank when you choise tankmates who occupy the top or bottom waterlayers.

wholesale tropicals in london has them. i saw some the other day...

Hi Andy , i've just picked up half a doz from BAS of bolton ,lancs . the ones i got are Dispar , they seem ok they are between 2 and 3 inches , they have a few left [a bit skinny ] this is only the third time i've sighted Dispar over roughly twenty years !
Macrolepidota's seem more common and show up far more frequently , as for H.Salwinensis ?

I got a dispar from BAS, mixed in with macrolepidota, lost it in a move :(
it was a great fish. might have to have a trip to BAS.:)

Nice one.

When I get my tank upgrade I am going to look for some more hampalas to go with the Tor.

The Dispar seem ok, the biggest of the group tends to lord it a bit , but not to bad ,added 3 Lemonfin Barbs , this seems to be a nice combination !
