i just got a 5" ornate 6 days ago and tonight i tried to hand feed him and he came up and took a piece of fish right out of my fingers! an extremely personable fish, i cant even get my oscar to do that yet! the only other fish i have been able to hand feed was my aro and i no longer have him so its cool to have a new "pet":headbang2
 
Now I want one. Gotta get a bigger tank!
How did he take it? I mean, just a snatch and run or did he seem calm?

he took his time. at first he came up to my finger, i thought he was going to bite it so i moved back a couple of times then he realized that the fish was his food and not me, lol. after he took it he only went a few inches away to devour his prize.
 
thats awsome, i JUST got my baby senagal (in my avatar) to take a mealworm from my hand for the first time a few seconds ago.:headbang2. congrats.
