i got my thin bar dat for almost 2 month now, and until a week ago, it wouldn't eat anything and just hide in a cavern all day. i was so worried that it'll die of hunger...i wanted to help it to eat by feeding feeder to its face, but then again, i thought human intervention probably won't help. but to my surprise, when i put the feeder right into the cave with a net, it for the 1st time ate something 
i was realli happi about that and wanted to feed him some more, but he just wouldn't take anymore.
so i ran out of feeders by feeding them to my oscars & jar, then i thought wut if i feed some krill to my dat? so i tried holdin a krill and wave it infront of my dat's face back and forth, and amazingly it took it, and it ate several of them. today is the 2nd day i hand feed it w/krills. this time, it was way more aggressive. it bit my finger even when i was adjusting a plant!
however, it still won't come out of its cave. i've already bought alot of fake plants to try to create seclusion, but it still won't come out. is this normal for a dat? how long will it still be in hiding?
