I love African Arowanas! They're active, non aggressive and have great personalities.
I had a 16" one that I grew out from 3", but I sold him a couple years ago because my gf back then kept telling me he was ugly and looked like a snake. So i sold him and bought angelfish and chick type of fish for awhile. I regretted selling him the minute he left my tank. I should've got rid of the girl and kept the fish! Never let a girl tell you how you should keep your fish!
I'm so glad I was able to find another african aro and here he is. I got him from a fellow MFKer a couple months ago and he's the centerpiece of my 210g tank.
