I was stoked last night when i managed to get my moorish to hand feed pellets for the first time, have hand fed my regal over the last couple of years.

Does anyone else hand feed their fish?
Especially monsters with big teeth?

Yes I do Ricko. I often feed my Groupers by hand. And my Golden Arothron loves to eat shellfish from my hand. My Clown Trigger loves to eat my "hand" instead of the food!!! As for the Volitans, forget it, I am not putting my hands near them.

LOL, all credit to you!!! Please don't laugh but i used to be scared hand feeding my regal cos of her tiny teeth.

i believe it, you never know when the fish may freak out and jump a little to far to take the food and "miss" lol. Like a greedy oscar lol.

i hand feed my jawfish, my late clown goby, as well as my fuzzy dwarf

I took this photo while at the SAME time feeding my Moorish, lol sorry for the crap photo!

well i feed my bichirs by hand i use to feed some of my larger cats and rays buy hand it hurt to get bit if its by a larger fish but when they are small it feels good i think.

I hand feed my tangs, angels and brazilian horned moray. I just posted a pic of the moray in this forum. He has sharp teeth but is amazingly gentle when taking food from my hand.
