Hand-Feeding my Angel! (w/ pics)

Just wanted to share some pics of me hand-feeding my new, baby senegal. Right from the start, I noticed he had no fear of me, and would actually come up to my hand and sniff it while in the water. So based on that I tried feeding him some freeze-dried shrimp and it worked! (Pics are a little blurry, but I was taking them 1-handed )







I've named him "Angel".

lol, how r u hand feedin it when u just got it? i can hand feed my aro n discus but my albino i've never tried before n im pretty sure its afraid of my hand since i do so much wc, but thats so cool

Yes, I'm really psyched about it. I'm new to bichirs (and fish in general) so not sure how usual this is or not, but it's cool.

Nice, mine still stays nears the bottom. He will swim around near top/middle but go back down when I open the lid. But once he smells the food, he's searching everywhere for it!
