Today for the first time I hand fed the RBP shoal. 5 months old.
They jumped and took food from my hand......

Need to do it tomorrow again :naughty::naughty:

This week I feed them this fish........ A salt water fish, don't know its name.....

Never heard of them jumping to get food. But when mine are hungry enough they will come close to the surface and take the food right when I drop.

Give it about a week and your finger may look identical:

I will make a video and post soon. now my tank has a triangular shape roof, with it, difficult to make a piranha jumping video...
on this Friday new 120G tank arrives, and it has a flat roof, after few days when Ps are familiar with the tank, I will make a video them jumping and post here.

my Ps are still juvenile, so they cant deliver me a dangerous bite like that.
when my Ps see a hand nearby the surface of the water, they come above to get food, if they are hungry. sometimes jumping to get the food from hand. video will come soon.

definitely wouldn't be sticking my hand in that tank. I have a hard enough time sticking my hand in my jag's tank
