I've seen several videos on youtube and heard people talking about hand feeding their eels but I was wondering how you guys train them to eat out of your hands. I have a striped peacock eel and I think it would be really cool to be able to do this.

Thanks in advance

How do you feed your eel now, and what do you feed him?

I usually hold a chunk of bloodworms in my hand under the water and the other fish eat the worms that fall off the chunk. I've rarely seen him eat but he usually just cruises around the bottom and picks up some worms.

just take a chunk of bloodworms, market shrimp, or earthworms and grab it between your thumb and pointer finger
hold it right out in front of him and wait for him to figure it out

I've tried just holding it in front of it for a few minutes but it doesn't seem to know what's going on lol. Thanks for the good luck
