all i gotta say is WOW! thats the most confident and fat gar ive ever seen. hes a true beauty! im so jealous i wish i had one like that for my pond. im loving ure setup man. ure rays are HUGE! keep up the good fishkeeping. how bigs the tank??

That is so cool. I really miss my gar now. Never thought about hand feeding him. He was a very aggressive eater, and toothy too. Soon as I free up some room I'll have to get another one and try taming the beast, or getting numerous stitches,haha I'll let you know how it goes.lol.

I got bit by my 12" fl gar. It didn't hurt at all. It scared the crap out of me because I thought it was going to hurt... but didn't at tall.
