Hanging out in the pot?

So I saw my male FH hanging out in the pot with a male JD. They were literally nuzzled in there like BFFs or something. I'm a little confused because my FH looks like this;




I thought this is a "he" but is there a chance this is a she? I did notice though, that there is also "possible" mating behavior going on between this guy and the SRD that's behind the divider. I just wanted to triple check with everyone... gender? Last time, we pretty much all agreed this is a male, but his behavior lately has me questioning his sexuality.

When I bought he/she, it was was only about 5-6 inches. Now its about 7-8.

Yeah, he tried to breed with an obvious female JD a couple of months ago.

I can help with the jack dempsey.. I know a little the jack dempsey if its a male it will have spangles through out its body Like hundreds. If the jack is a female she will just have spangles around here face like a beard. If she has a couple throughout her body its still a female. This is really effective method I just paired off 3 dempseys in a week. Venting only around 80 percent accurate too. I was told by my professor who has wrote a couple of books.wned:

Also if the Jack dempsey turns darker its a indicator of agression or Mating well let hope mating. The female will have a rose color to her body also unless she turned super dark recently.
