We were talking about moving and she tells me "You know when we move you're bringing all the fish with us. I don't want you dropping them off at a store or anything." We then also started discussing purchasing a larger tank for my midevil.
I was planning on attempting to move everyone with us but it was pretty cool to hear. Not sure how often I've heard it here but on the local Facebook group I see many people complaining about their wives being everything but supportive when it comes to their tanks.

Not sure who's more lucky, me or my fish.

Yeah it's pretty cool. My GF doesn't care much for the fish but she also doesn't care that I have them. Would not want to be one of those guys that has to ask his wife for permission on everything. Some guys can ask for things and be told no and that's that.

Yeah that's what I'm talking about. For the most part my gf is neutral too.

My wife doesn't give 2 hoots about my fish, except for the Fahaka. She named it and talks to it everytime she walks by the tank. She seldom says anything about what I spend on the hobby. I think i will keep her around!

I worry about electrical fires haha. Leaking filer or just over loading a power strip.

Haha hell... I worry about tanks busting. Every few weeks I have to tell myself they're fine haha.

That's nice that she's supportive. My wife hates my fish hobby cause she thinks I spend too much $$ on it. But she's the one who bought me my 135g tank.

good for you man. This hobby definitely has the potential to ruin relationships, good she's on the same page. My fiance definitely wishes I'd spend less on the hobby, but supports it regardless. Nice to not have to choose between your fish and your girl right?

My wife is not a Hobbyists like myself but will toss in extra small pieces of fish to the Senegal Bichirs lol.
