I just got 8 Haplochromis sp 44 fry. I cant find much online about them. Has anyone keep them? What do i need to know?

Well they are from lake victoria in africa. The max out around 5''. They are pretty easy to breed and will breed at a fairly small size. They get along with most other cichlids from the african rift lakes like malawi and tanginyika.. Most are tough enough to be in with mbunas but are peaceful enought to be with peacocks. Also like many of the other rift lake cichlids they are pretty easy to keep.
