Had this little kiddie pool setup a month ago after draining the 150-Gallon - holds the Channel Catfish that I've had for years, and the rescued RTC x TSN Hybrid (Back when I had my own fish rescue. Link to the main thread - hasn't been updated for a long while, but it gives you the idea of what it was all about http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?304225-Bruce!) Refused to eat for awhile after the move, but they both enjoy going after pond pellets or anything else tossed their way.

Nice! Some dark substrate in there would be great.

How are you filtering / heating it?

Only downside would be if it starts leaking, getting all of that substrate out would be a disaster - been there done that lol.
There is no heating, pool stays at about 72F, so I have no worries with that - especially being two bigger catfish.
Filtration is a DIY Wet Dry Filter - used it on the 150 and seems to do well on the pool too! I'll post some pictures of the filter though

How does it stay that warm ?

Good call on the leak - makes sense :) I'd love photos - I will have to do something like this soon (I have in the past) but I used conventional filtration, but would like something beefier next time.

Couldn't resist eh? lol.. not looking to shabby at all! gte some nightcrawlers and watch 'em go nuts.

great catfish.. lots of luck with him

I assume it stays that warm out of pure luck 0.0 lol, and thank you.

lol! I had no choice, it was either keep the leaking tank filled and wait for it to burst, give the Hybrid to someone with a 125-Gallon, or get a small pool...so small pool it was! :D And I'll have to do that! Although they seem to go nuts for just about anything. :nilly:

Thank you :)
