Will someone fill me in on festivus? I know it's from Seinfeld, but I found that show about as humorous as a laparoscopic cholecystectomy

I didn't like all episodes either.. but like that it was created as a alternative holiday due to the commercialization of christmas and is non-denominational... (all this being in the show.. not that I celebrate in real life.. lol)

I saw that episode where they did the laparoscopic cholecystectomy and it was hilarious! The CIA uses episodes of Seinfeld when waterboarding doesn't work.
