I am in a good mood today. Now, before I go any further, let me just say that I've been having trouble with this one tank since the beginning. At first, I thought the tank had cycled, but had messed up the testing somehow, and found out the hard way that it wasn't. I only lost one fish, but another had gotten ich. I did what I could, and made sure the nitrites didn't get over 1.0, while the nitrates were never really a problem.

Anyway, I tested my water about 15 minutes ago, and EVERYTHING is balanced. No ammonia or nitrites. NONE. The nitrates are in the safe range, and my fish is cleared of ich with this last dose of meds I gave it last night.

I can't wait to add fish now. :naughty:...:grinno:...:headbang2

Add fish slowly. The bacteria colony will need to grow to keep up with the increasing fish population. Otherwise it will look like the tank is cycling again.

What he said! But congrats on the cycle finish I can't wait for mine to finally be done !

Yeah I know. Thanks. I have been keeping fish for years, this was the only tank I've had problems with... at all . I was just too impatient to get things going, admittedly. Everything seemed to work out ok, though. ;)
