To all ..Even if your not Irish enjoy the holiday... I am not Irish but i sure loved all the good Irish food...... and some Irish good luck would be nice!!

lol why would you celebrate it if your not irish.
It seems on st patricks every man and his dog is desperately trying to prove they have some irish heritage and linking it to "thats probably why i drink so much". I can't believe its such a big thing in the US.

Just like to add that irish lost the six nations on st patricks day... harsh.

I did not say i was celebrating... i did watch the parade though.. I think in the USA you do not have to be any one nationality to enjoy a holiday .. it is not a huge thing here ... just cornbeef and cabbage day and good cheer..;)

its not an official holiday ;)

theres a famous saying "everyone wants to be irish on st patricks day". Its a shame cause i kind of think that its turned it into a sham. Theres increasing popularity with non irish people throughout the UK and US, and a bit in other places like aus.
Im now grumpy cause wales just beat england

Welcome to Americanization...

But it's basically just a day for everyone to drink and have a reason for it. I couldn't really give a crap though.
