Hard time with feeding auranti

I would appreciate any help from those who kept those amazing fishes on how to get my auranti to eat more stuff. Its currently only accepting super worms and live feeder fish. I tried starving it for a week and them giving some fresh shrimp but it didn't work. And also any tips on how to add the other auranti to the tank or its almost impossible to happen after they grow?. The auranti in the pics is about 27cm roughly 11 inches.

Newly added fish. What’s ur temp? Tested ur water?

Not newly added, its been with me for about 6 months now. My temp is around 25-26C now. The auranti is being kept alone at the moment.

This fish has had similar behavior when not given appropriate time to cycle. It’s hot in Brazil. Meaning from summer to winter temps. Add some more hiding areas and hope for the best.
