So lets here it, what is/has been the hardest fish for you to catch. Mine would have to be Kuhli loaches in a 30" tall tank.. The larger the fish, the easier for me they are to catch. The smaller buggers seem to be the "tank ninjas"..

Let's hear em..

For me it's my 12" comm plec, but that may be also cause my net was too small.... I had to grab him with my hands a couple times.. that freaked me out!!!

You should do that anyways.;) I always catch my plecos by hand.

I agree with JK. The little ones are the hardest. I think I chased a geo around for an hour the other night.

26" tiger shovelnose but the hardest part was figuring out what to catch it with.

I agree, plecs = by hand. I even catch my BN's by hand. They are the worst getting caught up in the net. They tear their fins up BAD.. :(

5" L204. I've had to move him several times and once he realizes I'm trying to catch him I swear he doesn't stop moving and is lightning quick. Even once I get ahold of him he sticks to the side like a vice.
