i have two 8 inch peacock bass in 4 foot tank with one spotted gar around 10 inch..i having them for 1 month already but seem not growing, they eat alot. i feed them with live feeder fish sort of like small koi fish(orange color). i was keep thinking is it the DOLPHIN UV FILTER affect the fish from growing? is it the UV ray affect the growth of the fish inside the tank? need some advice and comments as soon as possible. thank you.

I can tell you that it isn't the UV that is reducing growth. Its the feeders. Are you feeding the feeders before feeding them to your bass? If not, then do so.

In most cases, most cichla keepers have already converted off of live before the bass hit 6-7". So I would convert the bass on to pellets and other frozen foods.

What kind of bass do you have?
