I just setup my convict breeding tank in my 48"x13"?x18"? 55 gallon Tank. I have some driftwood in the tank and also i have like 5 caves so far.. im obviously adding more rock, but in the meantime i was wondering what are some of the hardier plant species that i could put in the tank that look attractive too.. i know swords are hardy, but anything else that looks really good, and would go with convict cichlids, i think they might rip the plants out time and time agian, but i dont mind putting em back... also what are some short plants? tall plants? and what are some good floater plants i could add into my Breeding project? THank you in advance..-Josh:naughty:

Hi Josh,

Looks like you keep me busy moving your threads ;)

As for hardy plants, try Anubia or Java fern/moss. Too bad you just missed pond season. I got my water lettuce (=floating plant) from a garding store. Hurry and check out your local garden store and see if they have some leftover
