Third rock from the sun
Title says it all, i need a plant that grows well in sand substrate, and i like plants that stay in the medium range, maybe around like 6'' tall and it would be cool if the plants would spread around the tank. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I have some sagitaria... Dont know spesific strain... But its around that tall and it can do well in sand... I have one plant that the root was out of the sand for the wile and now i have a little plant startimg to grow. I didnt know it dod that but apparently lol.

Got to liveaquaria.com and search for a plant and it will tell u how it propagates. If it sais runners thats the kind that will spread via roots

If you have rocks or dw you could just tie Java ferns or anubius too them. Or semi burry them in the sand just make sure the whatever their called roots stringy stiff is above the sand.

I need to spark up my fish life

I used anubias in my 200G with just sand substrate, so i know they will definitely grow without a problem... i think also amazon swords are meant to do okay in a sand substrate?

Anarchis gets pretty tall but u can trim it down and replant it. So say u have one plant thats a foot long cut it in half now u have 2 that are 6 inches
