harvesting eggs

i have two breeding convicts in a 55 gallon should i take out the eggs and put them in my 10 gallon or leave them in there?

the reason i ask is because i have a many other cichlids both african and south american in with them.

I would say leave them in they might eat the fry the first couple of times but i'm pretty sure they'll protect the eggs

Leave them in and watch nature at work.

tbh the convicts will defend them very well and are generally good parents

Just leave the parents to quide the eggs, because they will shake the pectoral fins to the eggs, to increase Oxygen . You better move the other fish

the cons will proly destroy the other fish. what ive seen of my cons first 3 spawns so far, is that they seem to have gotten worse lol their first spawn went perfectly then the next two... they ate the fry. im hopping its just they dont know what theyre doing yet and hopefuly yours will learn to be good parents. good luck!
