Has any one else been bitten by there arowana ! Afew weeks ago i was feeding my small arowana(only) and it jumped out of the water and got my little finger it let go soon after but it did break the skin and bled had any one else had the same treatment of there fish ?

ure meant to throw food in not wade ure hand near the water like its a worm. but yeh dw im sure its happened to millions of people. just not me. if i made a mistake like that with my snakeheads id be finished...

yup, my jar bit me, but at first i tried hand feeding him, and he did jump eat the shrimp only, but the next time i tried it, i included my hand and bit it, it hurt but diddnt bleed
I had to quit feeding my smaller silver by hand becuase I was loosing to much skin. A couple nights back I was stuffing a shrimp with a food stick and he jumped about 8-9" out of the water and got my hand. Neither of my other two aros are very aggressive when it comes to feeding, but this one silver is quite the pain.
My silver just bit me the other day when I had a test tube in there getting water. I guess I didn't taste that great, 'cause he went and sulked on the other side of the tank, lol.
there haf a been a few occasions when i haf been bitten while doing tank maintenance and while i put my hands in 2 play wif my aro... sometime he juz get's fed-up gives me a nip and tells me 2 f|_|ck off and leave him in peace... LoL...
