Has anyone been latched onto by a panaque?

For something with a mouth like this

that can reduce driftwood to shavings, I can't imagine the pain you'd be in if it felt like doing that, with full intent, to your hand or something. That begs the question, has anyone, here at least, experienced that?

fear of panaques: sharks now have less weight on their backs.

I don't think a bite will be that bad.
I saw what a panaque did to a discus fish. That looked more like mean scratches than an actual bite mark.
But I have never been bitten by one. And I am not eager to try it. I got once bitten by a 4 inch loach and that was more than enough.

Had a bristlenose play with my hand, more of a funny feeling than anything. Of course bns have no where near teeth like that. I’ll stick with angry cichlids for now...
