Has anyone eaten oscar before??

Hey, so i know that people in central america fiah and eat oscars like we do large mouth bass. My question is who has eaten oscar here? How did it taste? any recipes?
 
taste like tilapia to me, i ate everything in the east coast (NY), my motoro rays, oscars, red belly etc to name a few. all taste the same. i tried bichirs but that tasted kinda weird
 
River monsters jermy ate pink pacu. Just a thought.

really dude? thats amazing. did you eat the rays after they died naturally or something?
 
Pacu's are big in the aquaria business because they are bed as a food fish i read some where. Im guessing they are pretty good.

I think some people are getting their local aquarium shop confused with their fish mongers.
U cant be eating your pet fish guys, thats just wrong on so many levels
