My 11 inch female jag is very peaceful with her tankmates for the most part. My festae, FH, and my JD all are dominant over her. That is unless I turn the lights of the tank off and there is another small light such as sunrise, or the TV on. If it is totally dark, or just during the day with the lights off, she is fine. Once it is dark outside and there is a little light, she goes crazy. My festae, and FH still win, but she starts attacking everyone in the morning for about 30 minutes at sunrise, and if I have all the light off at night and am watching TV. What is up? Anyone experience this?

ive never noticed any diff, but my jag does have its moments but atthe mo its all show

I think my Jaguar can see perfectly fine in total darkness. It's often overnight that he eats my dithers and targets that he can't catch in the daylight.

That is normal with jags ive had jaguars for 10+ years and the one thing i love about them, they are total night hunters! back in the day when i use to feed live food the jags would do some hunting when the light was on.With the lights off there unstopable they must have great night vision. The next morning everything would be dead what they couldnt eat they killed.

yeh my jag tends to beat up my female when the lights go out, he also killed another fish when the light was off...
