I got a jar today to try out.

The label is not the worse I've seen...

I always feed NLS but decided to supplement, mostly because I was looking for 3mm pellets which Fluval has.

What do you think of the ingredients?

NLS sells pellets in ALL sizes, from micro pellets, to 10mm, including the 3mm pellet size that you are looking for, Cory.

Online is almost always the best way to go when buying food. If you have a lot of fish/tanks, buy in bulk (bucket sizes). Even those with only one smallish tank can save by buying larger bucket size containers, and splitting with friends. Some vendors even toss in free shipping once you surpass their minimum amount.

I feed these fluval pellets and haven't had any problems. I notice you have the red top variety there, this is high in protein. They also do a green top which is high in plant matter. Both great.

I know, but impossible to get here, even online providing delivery isn't steep because delivery can cost as much as the tub itself if I am to shop around...The largest NLS pellets they sell here are 2mm, and difficult to find at that....

I did look up the Fluval food specifically because I wanted decent algae tabs(most algae tabs don't contain any algae or much green matter) but they didn't have the algae tabs in 3mm either...so I ended up with normal food....

The shops here(in the country purchasing online also) are always out of NLS algae pellets and not to mention they don't sell all sizes.....I wonder if the company is aware that they are losing money/sales because of lack of proper distribution...or shops just don't think they should stock all NLS varieties due to lack of demand...
