Yep they will take prepared foods with no issues Never met one that would not given a bit of patience.

i have no problem with feeding mine with pellets....you can just starve her for a few days b4 you feed her with pellets...that will do the trick...

i have been trying out for a few times but no success... for now i just feed mine market prawns everyday.... hope to try out again...

by the way, is feeding market prawn everyday ok, i occasionally feed mine feeders too...

Yes, I stopped feeding him for about a week and after introducing a few Hikari pellets to the water he started going for them.

All of my gars will quite happily accept Hikari floating sticks. Just takes a bit of time and patience.
