I am keeping one now. They stay very active, always swimming around for food. It's very easy to take care of, just make sure his water is clean and in return he'll eat and get fat. What more can you ask for. However it will easily get up to 2 ft so make sure you plan on a big tank.

I had one. Nipped the **** out of my TSN at the time, so traded him in for store credit at some lfs.

I just picked one up from Wes, great fish. Make sure you have clean water as noted before. Make sure they get something crunchy in there diet to keep their teeth in check.
