Has anyone here kept these Catfish?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I had a group of 6 glyptos back in 09... There pretty delicate. i lost a few right off the bat and ended up with one for about 6 months. Id say there harder to care for than real goonch. Id prob go with a b. rutilius if ur worried about future size. Hopefully someone else chimes in with a more positive experience with them. I had mine in my earlier years before i discovered autodrip systems and proper husbandry.

Not necessarily. Russ says he was a rookie punk and these fish are a specialty.

If I had to guess, in 2009 he was not even 10 years old yet ;)

Never kept them. You may have a better luck inquiring on Planet Catfish.

lol
I'll ask there too.
It'd be nice to have a few in a 30 gallon setup in a sunny spot with some butterfly loaches.
