  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Might be informative but I think the majority of the info can be found here on MFK and if not simply post a thread and ask.:)

yay, save your $ john, just ask away

:iagree: I learned tons more info online than on most books which I picked up, some were a little outdated. MFK rock!:headbang2

You gotta love the fish forums, but nothing beats some good books. I like the fact that a book has gone through publishing. Books that are being published usually go through a little more scrutinization than a web forum.

But, MFK still is a great place to learn from other hobbyists.

what type of setup is required for breeding asian aro's ??

has anybody here breed any aro's ??

john

First things first...asian aros are illegal. Thou to answer your question....

its hardly ever done due to its difficulty in finding sexed/paired couples. Ive been told that it takes years and alot of patience along with a ton of money....

somone a long long time ago posted a video of two golden aros laying eggs and then tuning around a gobbling them up but I dont know if was a member or just a video somone found.

I'm not sure if you meant they ate the eggs, but they were not eating them. They are mouth brooders. The male was just picking them up to keep them safe.
