I have a knife that was sold as a papyrocranus afer, but I am not convinced it is.
It has a similar bodyshape, it has the little dorsal fin, but it's JET black with NO markings at all.
I can't find a pic of the papy congicus, I'm wondering if anyone has seen one.
If the congicus is black with no markings I assume it's that, otherwise I guess it's a dark morph of afer.
I've tried to get a pic but no luck, it's either hiding behind a filter or zooming around the tank.
