I've seen the AquaBella water treatment at a lfs. Claims that you won't have to change water for a year. Somehow, after keeping cichlids for so long, I kind of doubt that. Anyway, it is 4 syringes, put 1 a day in the tank, supposed to be good for 5-55 gallons. I think I might try in my 75, not sure if 1 pack would work or have to get 2. Kind of pricey, 27.99 a treatment. Sounds too good to be true, that you can complete set up a tank with 4 syringes of bacteria and whatever else is in this stuff. Still might be worth trying. Anybody else ever seen it or used it?

I wouldnt waste money on it. I havnt used that brand but most of the stabilizer type products ive seen were just about worthless.

+1 my dad used that when he was cycling his little 15 gal. It didn't do anything for high nitrates.

I think its snake oil, myself. Where are the anaerobic bacteria going to be? If I understand the process, they need to be in an oxygen free environment. I read their info, sounds too good to be true. It would be good for setting up a new tank, though other cheaper products would do the same thing. What happens after a year? It stops working?

Yeah, I'm not so sure about trying the stuff. Too expensive to start with, and really does sound too simple and good to be true. Must be aimed at people who want a lazy "easy" way to set up a tank. Fish I want to get are too expensive to risk experimenting with some unknown product. Was just curious if anyone knew anything about it.
