I tried them a couple of years ago...You about an 80% chance of getting a dud pack, were only one bulb (if any) will sprout.

I've bought 3 now and every bulb but one in two different packs sprouted. They go nuts too, throw em in one day and nothing happens for a while - the all of a sudden you wake up and there's a 5" plant in there. But they look more like weeds lol

yeah, the duds... I have some that have been in there for over a year that just started sprouting...

i use them and love em. i have about 12 in my 20l right now getting started. so far 3 out of the 10 lillies have sprouted after 2 days, and 6 our of the 10 sank and should sprout as well. i have about 8 of the other bulbs in there and they have also sank. if you are worried about getting duds you can mail them back to the company and they will replace them for free. basically if they don't sink after 2 days throw them in an envelope and you will get replacements

A friend gave me 2 bulbs. Only one sprouted and it has grown into a nice plant about 7-8 inches tall. I wouldn't buy them to take a chance on 50/50 but for free I couldn't turn it down. :) Good luck!

I've gotten them many times and they are perfect for beginners that don't want t to dose fertilizers and what not. Mine grew in a small eclipse system six with an 8w fluorescent light.

The company has an awesome guarantee on replacing the duds and they send you big healthy bulbs to replace the duds.

Any floaters, remove immediately theyre bad.

it's good to leave the floaters in for a day, a lot of the time they will sink.
