I've been giving serious thought about adding some hero severums to my peacock bass aquarium. With just a azul pair. Ive had them for going on 6 yrs now. They once were with 2 tems and a kel. Which have all moved on. Tank is a 6'x3'x27 with 2 fx6 and a 125 gallon sump. Just feel bad they roam around and tank seems so empty now. And want to try and make something different. Any thoughts.

I've got no idea if you should add more fish but have you considered more decor?
A tank that size with those 2 fish and turtle would look incredible if you put some large rock or logs in there, would be very dramatic looking.

Those are some nice P-bass didnt know that they get those stripes. To be fair the only species of
P-bass i seen in person are the Floridian P-bass.

I’ve not tried it. So this is straight opinion only.
I think that severum are not boisterous enough to complete with Bass.
Your guys look to be good sized also.
So even if you were to try it the severum are going to have to be fully grown to have a chance.

Agree with that if you're set on at least get full grown adults, also more pics of that terrapin please!

Nice to see them spawning.Have they done that before and how far have you gotten the fry if so?

They have done it numerous times. But the longest I have had fry was almost a month. Which was the last time I moved. They havent shown any signs of breeding in some time now

And I've had the terrapin since he was a hatchling. Found a bunch in under a new house that was just built were i live we were putting in a new water well. Tried to release as many as I could as I found them but the seagulls were picking them off as fast as we put them to the water. Here are some pics of when I brought him home to now
