Has anyone though out time, ever gotten a rash due to
arms being inside your tanks? A while back, i developed some sort
of a rash right in the middle of my arm, between the forearm and the
bicep. at first i thought nothing of it. days pass and it is not looking any better.
This rash itches like crazy! through out the night when i'm sleeping i guess i'm
still scratching it because in the morning i have little bloody scabs.
well i can't stand the itching so i go to the dernatologist.
The Dr. there says: well you got a bacterial infection.
so he gave me a percription * i forgot what it was* but anyway...
i never used it because i own a fish store, and i can expose the fish to
that kind of stuff! they would probably die! so like an idiot i never used it.
well a couple of days later, the itching is still there! Like a macho man i told myself
it will go away. it did not, so back to the dr. i go. he now tells me that a have ring
worm
moral of the story, always wash your hand after dealing with our aquatic pets
more than likely how i got all of this is: around the top of the aquariums
*frame* there is some what of sharp plastic, also where alot of bacteria grows
i probably cut myself on sides and some of the gunk on the rim of aquarium got inside the wound. just thought i'd share that
