Hi,

I had a few problems the first weeks I set up my tank because I did not know about cycling. A few days ago I bought a testing kit and added substrate from a cycled tank. Would you say my tank has cycled?

Here are the results for the tests. In between day 1 and 2 I did a water change

Day 1 Day 2 Day 3 Day 4
ph 7 7.2 7.3 7.2
alk 50 50 50 50
Gh 180 180 180 180
NO2 1 1 .5 0
No3 25 10 10 5

I have a planted tank and I guess thats why teh NO3 went down between day 3 and 4.

Is it safe to add a fish? I was planning on adding mollyies, who many can I add at a time? I have a 16 gallon tank.

Where is your NH3? that is my only question...it looks okay otherwise, but unless it was cycled using a previous filter don't forget to slowly give it Bio-load for the BB to keep on track
