Mouse doradids are rare at best, so you won't get a great deal of imput, and I'm not sure I can help; the only individuals ever imported here for us were DOA.
I've had two Hassar orestis for a year now. Actually they might be a pair since just one of them has developed long filaments on the dorsal fin.
They're not as nocturnal as other doradids, but quite nervous and easily frightened. And they need a big tank to swim in!
I've had no problems to feed them, they eat just about anything.
