Hi everyone,

both of them were berried,
the eggs in one of the shrimps have developed eyes as well while the other had got berried last night

so my question, can i hatch the eggs seperately ,removing the eggs from the shrimp????
anyone done this before,
help will be greatly appreciated

I dont know. Recently I had 2 females drop their eggs. And then they rotted/were eaten. I figure if you could keep them fanned, they could hatch. When they are on the shrimps tail she fans them to keep them healthy. I wonder if an air stone could do the trick. I know some people who have hatched fish eggs with this method.

I had this happen with crayfish, both times people suggested making DIY tumblers for the eggs, to keep water flow/aeration over them going well.

The first time, the eggs didn't make it. The second time though, some of the eggs made it and developed into crayfish. Maybe the same idea could work for shrimp, I mean, they're really similar. They both carry the eggs under the tail for similar time frames, fan them, etc.
