I recently purchased a pair of Red Tiger Motas and I was planning on keeping them with my managuense pair. The first day i introduced the motas to the tank, the male mota immediately took over the tank and wanted to whole tank to himself and the female...i had to move the managuense's to a 55 gallon.

I was really hoping it would work out but obviously not. Since i am now dedicating the 125 gallon tank to the mota pair, i cannot keep the manas in the 55 forever so either the motas go or the managuenses' have to go. I've been wanting a mota pair forever and now i have them so the motas are not going anywhere

I have a spare 125 gallon tank but i am saving that for a monster fish i will be getting soon

So i am asking $50 for the pair. The male is around 8" and female around 6". In a few months i will be getting a much larger tank so i may possibly be willing to buy them back from whoever takes them. Let me know what you guys think. I will also consider trades for fish or aquarium decor, substrate, filters etc. Sorry for the long post

I know this doesn't help..... but, if you still have them in 2 weeks when I get back from my vacation..... I'll probably be interested. I think those were originally mine that I sold to Ewok.... time to bring them home again! PM sent also.

Just so there's no misunderstanding, the managuense pair is for sale and im keeping the motas in the 125.

For sure sean...Only thing is, i dont think these are the ones i got from tien...The ones i got from him are long gone...i sold them to a buddy of mine and he still has them. I had to sell that pair because they werent getting along with the armatus and i didnt think they'd make it if i kept them in the tank.....just to clear things up. But, if they are still here in two weeks and you are interested then for sure they're yours. I got the male from a buddy of mine that breeds them. Got it at around 2". Then when it was around 4" i sold it to noah(arkmann) who grew it out and i recently bought it back from him....then i got the female from charlie(fishtankfactory).

wow beautiful male, im sure the female looks just as great. if i didnt just get a female for my male managuense, i would have been all over this. BUMP for a great deal on some great fish
