Can't see his stomach, but the sunken eyes is usually an indication that it was emaciated. Starved? Maybe parasites?

Saw it on every pleco I ever own(except 1) because I kept all my plecos until they died. I only turned 1 pleco into a fish store(at their request).

Not sure why, I've had them for a few months, they always came out and ate with the rest and then went into hiding for the most part. All the rest in the tank are fine.

There were only 3 that came in, supposedly undescribed still, friend has the one one.

That sucks. Sorry about the loss. Every pleco I lost was always a mystery. No sign of disease...they just die for seemingly no reason or just won’t eat.
