We have a chance to get a 1700g tank for 1000 dollars but have no room at hte time. What should we do. This setup is complete yank sump plumbing everything.

Board it up and use as external water storage , I am doing the same at the moment , till I shift into my new place.

depends are you planning to keep it? if you are buy it and try to make room, but if you plan to buy it then resell it then forget it since you dont know when a new owner gonna come and take it off your hand. however 1700g for 1000 with everything included seem like too great of a deal to pass up :x

If it was local here I would be all over it. Heck even for a bit of a trip it would still be worth it. Then again moving it would be crazy but still I would make it all work out and be running it.

Holy moly! Thats the deal of the century! I would be extremely cautious about glass. a tank like this MUST be acrylic. Glass would be rolling the dice and seeing what you land on. Glass would weigh a ton! no, 2 tons! you'd definitely have to hire a moving crew and an 18wheeler for this bad boy. Considering the thickness needed for a tank of this size if it includes everything were talking a 5000$+ for the tank ONLY! 1$/gal only applies for up to 55g for a reason... Because theirs simply no profit margin beyond that (glass thickness, acrylic is even MORE expensive). So a 55g would be like 1/8" i think, 1700g is like what, 1" and acrylic? so imagine, 8$/gal 0.0

same if it was local to me i'd go grab it right now by any means necessary!...
1700g for $1,000- is a freakin deal!!! glass or acrylic especially for a complete
setup!

buy it and keep it in the garage or storage unit until you have room for it.
it be very unwise to let this deal pass you by!
