I used to get guppies from a canal behind my house and then like 3 of my fish died and they included a 12 inch rtc a 12 inch golden clown knife and a 10 inch pbass i thought this was because of internal parasites from the guppies i was feeding but recently i have been struggling to afford feeders and im seriously considering just getting the guppies from the canal again now the reason why i dont think it was because of the guppies now is because at the time i was feeding these guppies to two of my other tanks and no fish from any of these tanks died so idk what to do all i know is the guppies are FREE and it was a lot easier to feed my fish then.

Quarantine the guppies before you feed them. Also, they're guppies. If you keep a few around for a little while you'll breed your own.

Of course depending on your fish there's really no reason for them to be eating feeders. The fish you're describing can all be on pellets and will be healthier. Knives might be hard to get to take them, but do frozen at least. Feeders should only be used if there's no other option.
