I don't know if this has been done before but here it is for those loyal to their fish.

I have a pleco, while I don't hate it, I don't think it's even on my top 20 favorite pleco list.

It's a Hypostomus plecostomus also known as one of the commons. I'd prefer the other commons over it (Pterygoplichthys disjunctivus or Pterygoplichthys pardalis ). I've had it at least 8 years and I'll keep it until it dies but at the same time I'd rather have other plecos in it's place.

Anyone else in this situation?

my gator gar.....ordered a different variety but got a gator and had no choice but to keep em

My eight skunk loaches have done more damage to my fish than any of the monsters in my bigger tanks. Had I known how destructive they were to other fish I would have passed on keeping a shoal. Now they are left in a 45g with a ton of Barbs because nothing else can withstand their biting.

I have an ocar and two green terrors I don't dislike them I just dislike the fact that the two green terrors need a tank for each one cause they don't get along with anything. The oscar is gonna be in a tank by himself because what I can put in with him is very limited. I like fish that I can put a wide varity of different ones together and not have to worry about a royal rumble breaking out.

I have a 6 inch albino bristlenose that just eats wood then pumps it out 24/7, eat, poop, eat, poop all day long!! I thought my Oscars were messy until I got this guy, he doesn't even bother with the algae in the tank! :duh:

I don't hate him but I can't help but think his bio load could be used better on something else.

I don't hate my two Kirin Parrott Cichlids, but they are a pain in the butt. I was not familiar with "hybrid" cichlids when I bought the pair. I raised these two since they were under 1" fry, and they are now ~ 6". I have treated this pair like a dozen times for internal parasites and have gotten no more then a week or two worth of non white poop from either.

Not only are they not naturally occuring fish, their intestinal tract is also highly abnormal. Hell the fact that their mouths do not close all the way is the LEAST offensive challenge with these creatures.

i had a rhino pleco that demolished all of my plants so im not going to ever get one again
