Have you neglected your purigen?

If you waited to recharge your purigen, and it is showing a lot of color, you might want to double soak it in bleach. Leave it in the solution for 24 hours, rinse it out, and do it again.

yup thats what iv done haha also it seems to need to be shaken under the solutions a coupel times in between to make sure you dont get pockets in the middel thats are still full of crud, that it hasnt reached.

Do you recoment Purigen? I've heard it works well, but I haven't seen it in person. Does it noticeably clear water? I almost got it today but passed it up.

i love purigen! it really sucks up them nitrates. its so cheap and lasts so long that i just buy new stuff when needed.

just did mine and was gonna ask since it wasnt white... searched and saw this.

Yes this ^^ Sometimes it doesn't recharge all the way if you don't stir the bags up a bit.
