I need to get one more Mono Argentus and I really want some Archers for my tank. I use to see them every time I went into my LFS and now that my tank is all setup and I want them they don't have them and can't get them. I've tried every LFS in town and nobody can get them and they are all sold out online. I found a few online but they want about triple what they were in my LFS plus outragous shipping. Any suggestions on where I can get these fish?

Funny you say that. I broke down my brackish tank and practically had to give everything away. (9 big Scats for $100) I still have a G. Tile left but It would more than likely eat the gobies.

Good luck in your search.......

some, like dragon gobies and colombian sharks are staples at places like petsmart, but to get more archers I think you might be able to get one of your LFS to orer them once they're in season if you keep trying

i feel your pain.... it took me 6 months to find my archers (when i had them). now i just have my GSP and 1 chromide.

just keep asking at your local LFS, or ring the shop before you go asking if they have any brackish fish. they should order them in for you. assuming the fish is in season.

if you dont ask you dont get. but if you become a pest you will :)

good luck by the way...

Hi- I had my local privately owned fish store get some brackish in for me.... but its a small place and I ordered a stone fish; not knowing it was the most poisonous of fish....:WHOA: anyway- they did find out luckily before nothing happened and one of the staff fell in love with it (gag!) and bought it....

I think I may be wayyyyyyyy overstocked in my 50 gal tank ! But it seems to be doing well.........will move them to larger as needed I suppose. But I also wanted to add some pipe fish too

4 mono
3 scats
2 colombian shark
5 tiny but mighty puffers

Kinda new ... what is a brackish tank and I just googled a stone fish .... Very ... uhh odd looking fellow
What make a tank brackish is the specific gravity of the water. Which means how much salt it contains. It can vary from fresh water to full marine condition.

Aquabid.com is such a retarded place.....The sellers are idiots, they sell you a fish for a $1.80 and then charge you $60.00 for next day delivery

When I ask them for USPS Priority with a Tracking Number they tell me its $30.00 with no Live Guarantee

You know what ..........In that case I'll just tell the LFS to put in a freakin order and i"ll wait for it and it'll be way damn cheaper than aquabid.com
