I really can't come to terms with myself. I really really don't want to get out I guess...just downsize. So I think I am going to keep my 55 gallon going and have that be my only tank. My problem is should I just keep my pickerel or do a really nice flower horn. Either way I can't make up my mind...Please help me.

Flowerhorn could possibly cause more contriversy :D so Keep that.. But you know you love your natives more... Or at least thats what I've gathered from you since we've been on here :D Maybe you'll have to keep two 55's.. Eh what the heck 50000 down to 2 :D

Pickerel all the way. Can you keep it for life in a 55?

Flowerhorns are pretty common.....

I was thinking the pickerel too. Yea he can be kept in the 55 for life. They slow down growth pretty badly once they hit 8" or so and that is where mine is about. If they hit 10" in an aquarium they are pretty lucky so it's not bad. Oh and you wouldn't believe the turn radius these guys have.
