I have a arowana. It's tail was infected. Tried my best to save it's tail. But unfortunately it lost his tail ;_;. I added antibacterial in the tank and he's swiming actively but swiming slightly head down tail up. I lowered the water level and also added salt but it has not worked. Since it was not eating I added metronidazole but it also didn't work. Now it hadn't eaten for 4days. Please help me out what to do.

Before you added med and salt did test your water parameters. Also what is your water change routine.
Don't have kit to test parameters and I change 50% water once a week. The tail was tearing and I added med.
Pick up a test kit and monitor your water parameters continue to do water changes. Also it doesn't matter if you do 50% weekly water changes you still should test the water apparently something is going on very well can be a water issue!
Aro can go a few days without food but it is critical to maintain the water parameters for the Aro to have any chance of recovering.
